Interactive TV

ALTEN is associated with the development of the latest generation of the on-board set-top box application (HD) for the world’s leading interactive television company.
This application concerns the entire operator-specific layer – that is everything that will appear on the end-user’s screen. ALTEN has worked on the development, integration and testing of this application on the set-top box.

Naval

ALTEN has developed a tool for recording and replaying data for a company which specialises in developing and designing radars (coastal monitoring and multi-role, etc.).
In the radar data processing chain, there is a plot extractor that converts a radar echo into an identified target. In order to perfect this crucial radar element, ALTEN has developed a special recording tool that is connected upstream and downstream of the extractor.

Aeronautics

ALTEN has worked in an international electronics company producing flight computers. The flight computers support a proprietary, real-time avionics operating system and multiple on-board applications.
ALTEN has developed its BITE software
(Built-In Test Equipment) for one of its flight
computers, and was responsible for the overall management of the project and the incorporation of offshore consultants for coding the software and its tests.
